On the air since 1988, Feast of Irish Music showcases Ireland’s songs and stories of unmatched beauty, complex music, witty and wise proverbs and sayings, vernacular architecture and the devout folk prayers. Feast of Irish Music runs the gamut: ballads, biographies, ceili, comedy, commentaries, contemporary, folk, Irish country, poetry, Scottish, traditional, new age, and from time to time other music performed by outstanding Irish artists.
For the sports enthusiast, “The Man in the Middle” presents, direct from Ireland, a live news and sports report at 2PM. A Feast of Irish Music consists of hours of the finest Irish entertainment – a radio journey into the history, culture, lore and traditions of the Emerald Isle.
